Lucy joined the Southern Coalition for Social Justice as a Quantitative Researcher and Data Analyst in June 2024.
Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, she is deeply committed to improving conditions across the South. Lucy holds degrees in economics and international studies from UNC Wilmington, and a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from UNC Chapel Hill, where she conducted research on reparations as a housing inequity solution. Her passion lies in using data to solve complex problems and support community-driven initiatives, focusing on social and economic justice, equitable community development, affordable housing, and financial inclusion.
Outside of work, Lucy enjoys both watching and playing sports, playing board games, and spending quality time with friends and family.
