
Andy Li serves as a communications advocate at the Southern Coalition for Social Justice.
Andy is a native of North Carolina, growing up in Boone. He graduated from East Carolina University in 2019 with a degree in journalism and political science. While in school, he served in various leadership roles at The East Carolinian and conducted research through the Honors College. He also worked with NPR in their Next Generation Radio project in Chapel Hill. After graduating, he worked with Community Impact Newspaper, covering the Conroe-Montgomery area of Texas with topics ranging from LGBTQ+ issues with local school boards to water rates. In 2021, he joined the Sunrise team at WITN in Greenville as a producer, where he worked to restructure the show.
