Southern Coalition for Social Justice, in partnership with Zealous, is hosting a comprehensive and collaborative full-day social media and communications training and networking event. Attendees will learn tangible communications skills while working on pressing issues in the social justice space — this will be a workshop heavy, creative, and collaborative environment. This event is free for all attendees and will take place on Friday, August 23rd, in Durham, NC. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. There will be limited assistance for travel and lodging for those groups who require it to attend.
Please note this training is for those who are actively working on communications in North Carolina — this doesn’t have to be in their job title but can be for anyone who handles your organization’s or group’s communications and social media work. Please feel free to share with your networks, but note we have a maximum capacity of 75 people (and will operate from a first-come, first-served basis re: RSVPs).
