Lily joined Southern Coalition for Social Justice in 2023 as a Voting Rights Legal Fellow, sponsored by Duke Law School’s Farrin Fellowship.

After graduating from Ursinus College in 2018, Lily worked in constituent services and on political campaigns before attending Duke Law. Lily earned her law degree, as well as a certificate in Public Interest and Public Service, from Duke in 2023. While at Duke, Lily was involved in the American Constitution Society, the Duke Law Journal for Constitutional Law and Public Policy, and several pro bono projects. She also was a student attorney in the Health Justice Clinic and First Amendment Clinic, and an intern with the Rhode Island Center for Justice and the ACLU of Massachusetts.

Lily is passionate about promoting and protecting free and fair elections and community-oriented lawyering.
