Chance joined the Southern Coalition for Social Justice as a Communications Specialist in June 2025. A native of Prince George, Virginia, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Hampton University. After graduation, Chance began her career as a newspaper reporter in Asheville before transitioning into public relations and communications in the education sector. Her passion for writing and community service began in high school and continues to drive her work. At SCSJ, Chance is committed to building meaningful relationships and using her communication skills to raise awareness and advocate for social justice.
